Aethelmearc Archery Ranking System

Archery ranks shall be established by the average of the three highest scores shot for the Royal Rounds at a published practice or sanctioned SCA function received by the Archery Scorekeeper for that archer. The scores shall remain valid for 12 months from the date shot. The ranks obtained are only valid as long as the archer maintains that average, save that of Grand Master, which is a lifelong achievement and is permanent.

Each archer is entitled to wear a badge that signifies his/her rank.

The Ranks are as follows:

	Archer	Any archer who has submitted three royal round scores and has an average up to 40
	Marskman	Any archer with an average of 40 or greater but less than 60
	Bowman	Any archer with an average of 60 or greater but less than 80
	Master Bowman	Any archer with an average of 80 or greater but less than 100
	Grand Master Bowman	Any archer with an average greater than 100
